About the product

Business software should preserve context instead of creating more places to search.

Runlium is a product vision for connected, permission-aware business software where people and governed agents work from the same operational truth.

Our thesis

The next generation of business software will be organized around shared data, delegated authority, and reliable agent execution—not one isolated SaaS product per department.

Teams lose time when information and commitments are fragmented across CRM, project management, HR, finance, support, documents, inboxes, and spreadsheets. Integration helps, but it rarely produces a coherent permission model, audit history, or operating experience.

Runlium starts with the shared layer. Modules become specialized views and workflows over common business entities, events, policies, and relationships. AI becomes useful because it receives authorized context and bounded tools rather than a copy of everything.

Product principles

Rules that protect the product from becoming another bloated suite.

01

Platform before breadth

Build identity, authorization, audit, events, search, workflows, and data contracts before duplicating them across modules.

02

Evidence before claims

Do not publish fake customer logos, performance numbers, certifications, uptime, or security guarantees.

03

Agents remain accountable

Every agent acts through scoped authority, visible tools, cost limits, approval boundaries, and recoverable execution.

04

Portability is a feature

Exports, APIs, webhooks, documented schemas, and deletion controls reduce fear and increase product trust.

05

Depth follows demand

Use founding workflows to decide which module becomes deep first instead of attempting nineteen shallow applications.

06

Design for calm

Make risk, ownership, next actions, and exceptions visible without forcing users to scan noisy dashboards.

Product path

A staged route from focused wedge to connected suite.

The sequence should be updated after real customer discovery and technical validation.

Now

Positioning and demand

Launch site, founding-customer interviews, workflow maps, architecture decisions, waitlist, content, and prototype testing.

Next

Platform core + one wedge

Multi-tenancy, auth, permissions, audit, data graph, workflows, AI gateway, and one high-value cross-team journey.

Then

Adjacent modules

Expand around the same customer records, events, policies, integrations, and measurable outcomes.

Later

Enterprise and ecosystem

Dedicated environments, identity lifecycle, marketplace, developer platform, migration tooling, and independent assurance.

Shape the roadmap

The best early partners bring a painful workflow and honest constraints.
